Trust & Professional Standards
Choosing an adviser means trusting their experience, judgement and discretion. Here you can explore the background behind my work, review supporting evidence and understand the standards that guide an engagement.
Experience you can examine
My work brings together hotel operations, owner advisory and hospitality education. My executive education includes Cornell's General Managers Program and Strategic Leadership for the Hospitality Professional. My professional credentials include the Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) designation. The credentials and documents pages explain each qualification and how to request verification.

Results with context
The Park Inn by Radisson Azerbaijan Baku case study reports the hotel's 2014 performance during my tenure as general manager: gross operating profit increased 13.5%, room revenue increased 7.7%, and guest Net Promoter Score rose from 38.9 to 54.6. The published case identifies the year-end review as its source.
These are historical property results achieved through a team's work in a particular operating context. They are not a forecast or a guarantee for another hotel. The 2014 “Deliver Results” recognition was a property-level award.

A clear basis for working together
We begin with your situation: what you want to improve, what you have tried and the decisions ahead. Before paid work starts, the engagement should identify the scope, deliverables, fees, timing, information required and responsibilities on both sides. Cancellation, rescheduling and any scope changes should be addressed in the written agreement.
The aim is to give you recommendations you can question and use, with the supporting evidence, assumptions and limitations explained. You make the final business decisions; the written engagement agreement defines the advisory work and any implementation support included.

Independent judgement and commercial relationships
Useful advice starts with the client's priorities and the available evidence. Relevant referral arrangements or commercial interests should be disclosed when discussing a recommendation. Some links on this website are affiliate links and may generate a commission at no additional cost to you, as disclosed in the site footer. Please ask if you would like a relationship clarified.
Confidentiality, information and AI
Before sharing confidential business records, agree the intended use, recipients and transfer method for your engagement. Please keep guest records, employee information, passwords and other sensitive material out of an initial website enquiry.
Where AI tools are proposed for an engagement, their role, information inputs and human review should be discussed before use. AI output requires checking; professional recommendations need an accountable human explanation.
The website privacy policy explains enquiry handling, service providers, retention and privacy requests. It is separate from any confidentiality arrangements agreed for a client project.
